Mindfulness Practices and
Inner Peace Workshops

Three Sips to Calm

2-minute stress release

to reconnect with calm and care.

In a busy day, take just 2 minutes to pause and sip slowly—with mindfulness.

Sip 1

“Body is here. Mind is here.”

Feel the water flowing into your body.

Sip 2

“Body and mind are one.”

Hold the water in your mouth, feel its sensation, then swallow slowly.

Sip 3

“This moment is a precious gift.”

Thank your body for still being able to drink water by itself.

That’s all it takes to feel a little peace and a bit more love for yourself.

Let an ordinary sip become a quiet gift to your heart.

Peace Begins with the Breath

"Like a Blooming Flower" — A Mindful Song with Movement

Gently guiding the heart back home

When the mind is unsettled, the breath becomes a magical tool.
Each time we breathe mindfully:

Inhale — with gentleness
Exhale — with ease

The heart gradually softens,
like a flower slowly blooming.

With each breath,
we return to the present moment.

Inhale — aware
Exhale — aware

Inner turbulence gently unwinds.

The heart becomes tender,
like a blooming flower,
grounded like a mountain,
cool and calm like flowing water.

We embrace ourselves with love,
and quietly share that goodness with the world.

Cultivating a Small Seed of Joy Within

On days when we may have forgotten what happiness feels like,

we invite you to reconnect with your heart

through the "Three Levels of Happiness,"

developed by Venerable Mae Chee Sansanee Sthirasuta.

Happiness through Simplicity — Gentle touch and massage with love and kindness

Happiness through Creation — When we give full attention to what we do, happiness naturally arises

Happiness through Giving — Taking turns to care and express gratitude; giving happiness is receiving happiness

This activity offers more than just personal happiness—it plants the seed of peace in the world.

Because lasting peace begins with small moments of happiness in our hearts.

Sound Waves for Healing

Sound healing is the use of sound and vibration to support holistic well-being—both

physically and mentally. It is based on the principle that sound can affect various systems

within the body and mind, helping to reduce stress, restore balance, and bring about deep relaxation.

Sound Massage is one form of sound therapy, using singing bowls or other instruments

that generate vibrations and sound waves to help the body and mind return to a state of balance.

These sound waves can help shift brainwave patterns from beta (alert and active)

to alpha or theta states—levels associated with relaxation, restoration, and natural healing.

In Thai Buddhist monastic life, sound has long played a meaningful role.

The ringing of bells is more than a signal—it marks sacred moments

throughout the day: waking in the early morning, preparing the mind before chanting,

or inviting mindfulness before a meal.

Sound is not just something we hear.

It is a gentle guide toward awareness, healing, and inner peace.

SKT Meditation Therapy

SKT Meditation Therapy

is a holistic healing method developed by Professor Dr. Somporn Kantradusadee Triamchaisri.

It combines conscious breathing, yoga, qigong, and mindful movement to restore health and

well-being at a deep level.

The practice includes 9 postures that support prevention, recovery,

and self-healing—even for bedridden patients or those with serious illnesses.

This method has been widely implemented in hospitals across Thailand

and is regularly taught at Sathira-Dhammasathan,

encouraging patients and their families to care for themselves

with mindfulness and compassion.

Peace Through 4-System Healing Massage

Massage is one of the simplest ways to release tension

and gently guide the mind back to a place of calm—especially in today’s world

where stress and office syndrome are all too common.

4-System Healing Massage is based on the principles of reflexology

and can be easily practiced on your own by focusing on these four key systems:

Muscular System — Massage the palm and back of the hand to relieve muscle tension

Nervous System — Gently press the base of each nail to stimulate nerve endings

Circulatory System — Stroke each finger from base to tip to boost blood flow

Lymphatic System — Press from the fingertip toward the wrist to support lymph drainage

This technique can also be applied to the soles of the feet.

It is a gentle practice of self-care and a way to restore balance to both body and mind.

When we touch ourselves with mindful attention,

peace begins—right at our fingertips.

Mindful Walking

Walk each step with a body in motion and

a mind anchored in presence.

Be fully aware in the here and now.

The body is here. The mind is here.

As your feet touch the ground,

feel awakened and joyful.

“The present moment is the most precious time.”

Mae Chee Sansanee Sthirasuta

In the rush of everyday life,

don’t chase the destination and

miss the happiness along the way.

Simply being able to walk is a miracle of life.
