Peace, Human Security and Dignity
Temporary Exhibition
Thailand Pavilion | 1–12 August 2025
Expo 2025, Osaka, Kansai, Japan

Temporary Exhibition Thailand Pavilion
Under the theme Peace, Human Security and Dignity, this temporary exhibition—held from August 1 to 12, 2025, at Expo 2025 Osaka and located within the Thailand Pavilion—focuses on cultivating inner peace. It is rooted in over 40 years of lived experience at Sathira-Dhammasathan, a learning community for peace and harmony that channels the power of women to foster peace through the vision of World Peace from a Mother’s Heart. As a model for Thailand’s approach to peaceful transformation, the community inspires change through Inner Peace and People Connection—bridging hearts across genders, generations, cultures, languages, religions, and beliefs. Designed as a Living Lab, the exhibition offers visitors the opportunity to experience peace from within and spark global understanding, cooperation, and lasting human security, grounded in the simple yet profound principles of Care – Share – Respect.
This initiative is made possible through the collaboration of the Sathira-Dhammasthan Foundation, Burapha University, the Ministry of Public Health of Thailand (through the Department of Health Service Support and Thailand Medical Hub), and the International Volunteer Network.

Mindfulness Practices and
Inner Peace Workshops
This exhibition is designed as a Living Lab, inviting visitors to reconnect with their inner peace through gentle, mindfulness-based activities and workshops. When the mind is calm, it opens up, releases judgment, and naturally connects with others—this is the essence of People Connection. True happiness can arise, simply and quietly, from a peaceful heart.

President of
Sathira-Dhammasathan Foundation
Saisampan Panyasiri
As the elder sister of Venerable Mae Chee Sansanee Sthirasuta, Saisampan Panyasiri has played a vital role in shaping the heart of Sathira-Dhammasathan. With quiet strength and unwavering faith in the Dhamma,
she has helped nurture this sanctuary into a place of refuge and transformation.
Leaving behind a successful corporate career, she chose a path of service—devoting over 30 years to living and sharing the Dhamma with sincerity and grace. Though not ordained, she walks the path as a true practitioner, gently guiding others to reconnect with the peace within and journey toward freedom from suffering.
“Let go of expectations, but keep your heart open. This is a place for learning and healing.”

Sathira-Dhammasathan
A Spiritual Oasis in the Heart of Bangkok
Founded by Mae Chee Sansanee Sthirasuta in 1987, Sathira-Dhammasathan is a learning community for peace and harmony—a serene refuge that opens the heart to compassion, inner peace, and mindful living.
Guided by the principles of Care – Share – Respect, this is more than a physical place. It is a sanctuary
for the soul, a second home for all, inviting us to see suffering as a path to liberation
through a way of simple happiness— Happiness in simplicity, Happiness in creating, and Happiness in giving.

Bodhisattva Valley
Kaeng Krachan District, Phetchaburi Province
In 2019, Sathira-Dhammasathan extended its vision by establishing Bodhisattva Valley—a spiritual community nestled in nature, where working and practicing go hand in hand. This is a place where people return to live gently with the Earth.
Tara Farm, located within the valley, is a space for growing, cooking, sharing, and transforming. Rooted in natural living, it supports a lifestyle of mindfulness and peace. This self-sustaining, balanced ecosystem is designed to foster a way of life that is calm, conscious, and connected to nature in every breath.
The two communities reflect a shared vision:
A world of sustainable peace and compassion begins
from within. When we choose to live with awareness,
we can inspire meaningful change —within ourselves, within our communities, and across the world — cultivating compassion and lasting inner peace.
